On a standard cab I’ve used 39″ tv’s that fit absolutely perfectly (side to side) without being decased.They are so perfect you couldn’t slide a piece of paper between the monitor and the side rail. There is a gap on front and back, but I made rear panels for the LED flashers and a small apron for the front which was basically a L-shaped piece of carbon steel.
