As much as $500 is a good incentive, it is frowned upon to pay or offer money to build tables. If you want to work with someone in private and give them whatever you want that is fine, but it would not benefit the hobby to start offering or requiring exchange of money in order to get tables built.
in the past, however, there has been offers to chip in to buy resources for a table build, ie playfields or plastics, and that is usually acceptable since the table may never get built due to lack of resources. My suggestion is to gather resources and or look for people that are interested in the topic who would help build the table. I would also venture to say that don’t discount yourself or your ability to mod or build tables. My first was a mod or upgrade of an existing table. There are plenty of people that will help you if you show effort and determination.
there is also people here who do music mods to existing tables and they may be helpful too. @dkane626 / Idigstuff Does music mods and does a very good job of them. You may reach out to get advise from him.
