Since I don’t have my own gear motor…I was worried about having the gear move every time R2-D2 moves his head….since I can’t relate to the experience.

If you find that its too much / annoying…it’s real easy to change. Just goto the very end of the table script, and its there.

You’ll also notice that for this table, I have “almost” ALL of my DOFLinx code in one section (at the end of the script) …and almost ALL of the DOFLinx commands are within their own clearly labelled sub-routines in that section. Most of it being a “standard” that I use for every table now. Instead of using DOFLinx commands throughout the table script… I call to those DOFLinx sub-routines, which makes for a much cleaner script…and MUCH easier to do an update.

Everything throughout the table uses sub-routines that all start with DOFLinx, which makes it easy to do a copy and paste to a newer version of a table. I’ve done it twice with this table…so I can tell you, even though it still takes a few hours to copy an update over…its MUCH easier this way.

It also makes it easy to change something afterward for personal tastes of others. You just goto to the section you want to change (flippers, bumpers, tilt, etc), and adjust just “one” command, instead of having to go throughout the entire script to search for multiple commands.
