If you are not using Windows 10, have you set the VP.exe’s properties to compatibility to run as administrator?
If you have Windows 10, do not set compatibility mode to run as administrator.
Also try clicking your setup.exe for PinMAME which can be found wherever you installed Visual Pinball, and check to see if the path to your roms is correct. If you upgraded to newest PinMAME, you will have to click the setup.exe again as just simply copying over contents doesn’t actually upgrade your PinMAME until you click setup.exe.
