Thanks for the input guys… I was another 0-5 in getting the coffin lock to actually grab the ball. A couple were glancing blows so I get it… but I’m just having some really bad luck here. Colour rom for this game may be my favourite… maybe a close runner up to the TSPP rom, but the VPX of Metallica is so polished it is hard to beat.
Something is definitely ‘up’ with the locks. They used to work fine, but they are definitely not working correctly now (even on mine). I’ll need to go back in time with versions of VPX, scripts and vpinmame to see what happened. But I am seeing the same as you and it is not how it’s supposed to work.
