Hi Folks, Just wanted to know if anyone had developed a way to use a lockdown bar button for LE tables (Like AC/DV LE) with VPX that lights when ready to be used for special features or firing etc (I.e. Last Action Hero with the smart missile). I figure it’d just be a configured button in VPX and use DOF to light it when the game needs it to. I’m not sure if anyone is already doing this, but when I play my friends real AC/DC Le I find on my VPX AC/DC LE I really miss the lockdown bar button. Anyone got any ideas? Regards D,
I have a lockdown bar button in my cabinet, and I did the DOF for AC/DC LE (addressable leds , Fire Button, and Beacon). The right magna-save (or 2nd flipper) is what is configured to act as the Fire button. However I do believe Toxie added support for a specific FIRE button to VPX that can now be used….but I don’t think anyone has bothered to use it yet. You can easily change it to whatever button you want in the table script.
There are at least 6 VPX tables that use the FIRE button. (more with FP)
