That is no problem at all ! Just define your button as “Fire Button” in DOF config tool, then change the key “KeyFire1” in VPMKeys.vbs (script directory) to the desired keypress of your button.
Then finally change the line in the table script, which implements fire action, to KeyFire1
I have a dedicated fire button in my cab, and changed most tables including fire action exactly this way !
