I’ve tried way back when these patches first was released. They are expected to run on pin2dmd according to Lucky1, and I believe Carny said he at least had them up and running. Lucky1 has however said at least a couple of times that POTC and FamilyGuy doesn’t work for anyone except pin2dmd users because of what he referred as “inframe coding”. God, lucky1 ( and maybe a few more ) knows what that term really mean.
However – on PinDMD3 and I hear on LED displays it is working without a rom patch, just the pin2dmd.pal is needed it seems.
Nice. Thank you Jesper for poking me about this. If I patch the rom, which I thought would be needed, the rom crashes instantly for me.
