Bill – please have a look at the faq I wrote about the subject.

    Pindmd3 – replacing pindmd.dll for dmddevice.dll

If you get stutter, then I’m quite sure you are NOT running the dmddevice.dll and dmddevice.ini that is inside the dmd-ext program that Freezy have made available. When you go for these. You will get into problems with GTS3 tables. The DMD will run way too slow. That started happening when 2.9 was release. Freezy is aware of it, but, seems he hasn’t time to fix it.

This is the only way I’ve been able to get pindmd3 to work 100% with PBX, UltraDMD and SAM with colors the rest of the fun stuff. In fact you don’t really need his dmddevice.ini, but, I advice you to get it as well. Inside it, you disable all those dmd’s you don’t have. So, the DLL isn’t trying to find stuff that simply isn’t there. The ini file is extra useful for people with LCD screens, since you can program the size and placement. But, of course, that isn’t much use for me and you.

I’ve had a lot of people thanking me for this tut, both pindmd3 and LCD guys, so, I’m quite sure that it works for not only me. Should in theory also work for those with pindmd1 and pindmd2 as well, but, well, these guys can’t run full color so it isn’t that useful I guess.
