Are you not using vpinmame and the original game code? I ask because you said alot about the modes and on recreating the ruleset…if your scripting it without rom emulation thats an impressive amount of work!!

New Stern games use SPIKE which is not emulated and no word of anyone working on reverse engineering that so no chance of it being replicated using a rom emulator. So coding everything from scratch plus the ultradmd for the dmd.
A few more bugs to iron out.. one flaw is scoring .. there is simply no way to tell what scores what .. so you cant compare a score on this game to one in the physical game.
