i solved it, kind of, i think.
i now have all settings at performance level, instead of graphics and beauty. i also have the setting for VpinMame sound at 22050 instead of 44110. that helps a lot, i think.
still i’m thinking about upgrading my pc/cab to a lot more processor/graphics card wise.
