Hey guys, I’m looking for a recommendation for a 43″ 4k playfield tv that’ll fit nicely in the Game Room Solutions GRS 43″ kit with their included mounting bracket.
I tried searching but couldn’t really find anything. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks!

March 9, 2021 at 1:02 pm #228534Hey, only recommendation I have would be the one will be using for my cabinet. Its an LG 43″ 4K monitor (43UN700-B) No complaints about it so far. From bezel to bezel its 38 1/8″ x 22 1/8″ and about 2 1/2″ thick. My cab dimensions are a Williams wide body cabinet. Hope this helps.

March 9, 2021 at 3:12 pm #228570Just a word of advice. If you haven’t ordered that cab yet I’d consider another option. It’s particle board with cam lock assembly and plexiglass for the playfield. Not sure if the design changed since I looked, but there was no easy way to remove the plexi for cleaning the screen, it will swirl up as soon as you start cleaning it and if you have a plunger with nudge capability your are gonna shake that cab apart over time. At least glue it when you assemble if nothing else. Good luck with your build!

March 9, 2021 at 3:45 pm #228581Just finished setting up that kit for myself. I’ll agree it’s not the best quality option out there but it went together easy and looks good and was by far the cheapest that I found if you consider it’s an all in one kind of deal. Long term I’m probably going to modify it by adding some rails inside, replace the plexi with glass, and add a real lockbar. There’s another thread with a user that did something similar so he could get in and out easier. For now I’m happy to just play some tables :)
To your question though I went with the 43″ TCL 4K but it didn’t fit their bracket as the mount was too low. I had to drill my own holes to get a screw in. Anything should work as long as you keep it under their recommended width but might require some fiddling.

March 9, 2021 at 4:07 pm #228586I mentioned this to Spelly, but anyone else with this kit and having it on any kind of carpet be sure to put it on some kind of furniture glide. Trying to push it to move it or possibly just nudging it will put shear stress on the mdf which it doesn’t handle super well. With a little extra care and forethought I think the cabinet is reasonable for the money. But I modded mine to remove the plexiglass, so my experience isn’t “normal”. If anyone wants to chat about it, PM me here. I could write volumes.
