a new found gem in NJ

so the plain today was to “stop” at a new arcade in the Showboat casino in Atlantic City, NJ…. was supposed be a quick check it out play a few games, and roll 20mins to Jilly’s arcade in Ocean City , NJ…. that didnt happen the StarCade in the casino turned out to be a real gem…. it had great great selection of machines (18)… all well maintained and mostly premium versions… its $10 all day, great price for this area… they also had some great classic arcade machines….  we met the owner and “her” father… yes this arcade isnt owned by some old guy, like you would expect… NO, this place is own my a 21yr old girl, that seems to have her shit together, got to talk to them on and off over the course of 6hrs… these were REALLY nice people, not fake nice, genuinely NICE people… we could see she has a real go getter passion for what she has taken on… including moving to the shit hole that Atlantic City is…. anyone that doesnt know the “real” Atlantic City, not the one you see on TV or on the monopoly game….. let me explain… take any ghetto from any big city in the US…. put it next to the atlantic ocean, and that’s Atlantic City, NJ, it’s a filthy disgusting city that super low class people vacation at…. so my point is, this poor girl moved there to be close to her new business…  thats called passion and sacrifice….  even tho I feel this way, I hope to get back there soon… they just got an ac/dc luci they need to pick up… so thats awesome… anyway… if you ever find yourself in AC, you have to check this place out… HauntFreaks approved!!

Nice report Haunt! I have been two times in AC over the years, but they had only a massive amount of slot machines at this time, and no Pinball :)
I like the pictures and atmosphere, and I think 10$ is a really fair price.

Maybe I will visit the States again in fall or spring. So if you know more cool pinball places in the NY/NJ area…. :)
