Great pup btw. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for this community. I see you willingness to help all the time and it’s just amazing. You rock!

December 21, 2020 at 11:47 pm #216286Unchecking that didn’t help me either – still not seeing any other video. Strange in that virtually every other PuP works for me…but must be something different about this one.

That would be funny if after all the pups I’ve worked on and created that I would make this one in particular not work for you. Your puplog hasn’t been generating anything new since October. So what you do have is pups that use triggers, and other non dmdcapture events working. The most common thing people forget is in the dmddevice.ini file is they don’t have pinup =true. Sure there’s other issues that it could be, but they’re covered in the wiki. One real good test is to open the pupeditor with the enclosed editthispuppack.bat and test it along with some of the trigger actions. If those work there, you’ve narrowed down your issue by a few items.
Your dmd looks awfully orange too — almost like “use external dmd” isn’t checked for this rom. Really hard to tell from a picture though.

December 22, 2020 at 7:11 pm #216375Use external DMD is checked. Here is my dmddevice.ini info:
[global]
; how to downscale SEGA 192×64 pixel games to smaller displays: fit, fill or stretch
resize = fit; flips the image horizontally
fliphorizontally = false; flips the image vertically
flipvertically = false; enable or disable frame-by-frame colorization (inactive in VPX bundle)
colorize = true; a DMD that renders with nice dots on a computer monitor
[virtualdmd]
enabled = false; virtual dmd stays on top of all other windows
stayontop = false; hide the resize grip
hidegrip = true; ignore the aspect ratio of the rendered dots when resizing
ignorear = true; use VPM’s registry values when positioning the virtual dmd
useregistry = false; x-axis of the window position
left = 6467; y-axis of the window position
top = 57; width of the dmd in monitor pixels
width = 1154; height of the dmd in monitor pixels
height = 555[pindmd1]

enabled = true[alphanumeric]
enabled = falseI tested the triggers and they seem to work fine. I have zero idea why my puplog isn’t recording anything. You’ve clearly done some amazing work here – but there’s likely something unique to my setup that’s either wrong or who knows what. I’ll continue to tinker with it.

If you’re on discord or facebook reach out to me. I’ll hop on and look to see if we can figure it out. The dmd just looks odd – regardless of what color it is it should still function.

In this particular case it was using the 64bit version of freezy. If your puppack is the full size, you’re likely missing a step in your freezy setup for puppacks.

January 7, 2021 at 6:14 pm #218697Great pup pack. Love those live shows.
However, the music from the table is competing with the music from the pup pack.
I’ve got the colorized rom acd_170hc running with my PinDMD3 but how do you turn down the table music?
Thanks

There’s a muted rom in the download section that fixes this. And Thanks!

January 8, 2021 at 7:02 pm #218855Doh! I totally missed that, downloaded the ROM from the Stern site and learned how to colorize it. Oh well, at least I’m learning. Your muted rom works perfect. Thank you.

Just change the cgamename in whatever table version you have. Should work fine.
