Open setup.exe from your vpinmame folder and hit test. Make sure you see the rom listed there. Also, make sure you put the rom from the download in your roms folder. If you don’t see it listed you need to update your vpinmame/sambuild to the version that show the “c” and “hc” roms.

Hi Hawkeyez88, I am having very similar to problems as others. Every other PupPack I’ve  installed I have had no issues with, but I just cant get this one working.

Im running AC/DC Luci 1.5 with the 170h rom with the standard backglass and it’s no issue. Im running vpinmame 3.3 Dec 16th 2020. (If i run the vpinmame setup.exe the acd_170hc rom is not there only all the h roms)

Ive placed the acd_170hc rom into my rom folder (tried it with leaving the original 170h rom and removing it). I recompiled the vpx script to change the cgamename to acd_170hc

Put the puppack into the PUPvideos folder and named it acd_170hc

Im also getting the Line 137 error Game name not found error.

If i run the pinuppackeditor load acd_170hc and test, it plays no problem

I dont know what else i can do?

Updating / installing VPinMame sambuild for example?

Awesome PUP, thanks!  I’m able to get it running on its own no problem, but I’m trying to configure two versions of my ACDC LUCI table:  one with Pup Pack and one without, and want both tables to use the color DMD so I need ROM version 170hc for both.  Is there any way of doing this?  The alias approach will give me both tables with ROM music or both tables without ROM music depending on which copy of 170hc I use.  I tried making a copy of the rom to the other versions available (ie 168hc) but no luck.  Is this even possible?

Using 168hc or 170c even should work. Copy your altcolor files into whichever “other” rom you choose to use.

Finished Baller Installer last night, so thought this pup pack deserves to be the very first to go into the collection.  Second table install might be a while since I keep wanting to play this instead. :)
