Back when I upgraded from 10.2 to 10.2.1 I started seeing some strange ball behavior. Balls were heading towards the left side of the table. Happened on every table. I assumed something was wrong with my setup after upgrading. I rolled back and everything was fine. I remember though a few folks on here saying they had seen Xbox controllers/joysticks cause strange behavior.

I am playing tables today and the ball starts behaving the same. Except now it is pulling to the right. On every table. I remembered the comment from previously and disabled the controller. Same behavior. Disconnected the controller. Tables work fine again.

Thanks all for making vpinball what it is.  :good:

Murphy’s Law. Looks like I spoke too soon. I have been playing Assassin’s Big Buck Hunter beta and it’s still doing the same thing.

Looks like my joystick was the issue.

I can see benefits to running a cab here.

It’s always going to be some form of peripheral input issue.

Yep. The sad thing is I may not have figured this out on my own.

A good tip – download these two utilities.
They are a big help to see what DirectX is seeing and obviously also VP because of it.

If something is drifting off, you can see it in seconds, and even fine tune.
