hauntfreaks got me started on thsi quite a while back and I got it all playable, but have not come up with decent resources to make me want to actually put the time in to finish it.
Plastics are mostly from mfuegemann’s vp9 table
, did some cleanup on them and replaced a few with nicer ones I found, but basically could really use some good scans for most of these.
Playfield is a mashup from several sources hacked together. I took some time and replaced most of the inserts so it was all legible and easier to see, but again, could really use a nice playfield image.
As far as I can tell everything is working so I’m sharing it here so you all can play/test, and hopefully someday we’ll get some good resources to finish. It is missing a lot of support posts and such, but it does have my first attempt at making a plastic ramp following the @Flupper tutorial which I think turned out not to bad but probably not totally accurate.
Wildman has a couple pretty decent db2s’ over on vpu.

October 17, 2018 at 7:21 am #101075thanks guys.
Ironically last night I got a notice from Twitch that someone we know was live streaming a real Arena, which I’ve never actually seen or played.
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/323599486
and since their feed died it’s split in two https://www.twitch.tv/videos/323651202
I didn’t get a chance to watch much of it, but the first link they go through a quick how to play before streaming.

October 17, 2018 at 1:07 pm #101088I love these Gottlieb machines from this era. Arena is one of the vp9 tables my buddy and I continually come back to. This is a very great version! I think most Gottliebs are highly underrated and I have been more than pumped for the new machines being made!

October 17, 2018 at 2:23 pm #101095This table looks really cool, thanks for sharing the beta. You’ve probably already found it yourself, but just in case, I found this link that includes a couple of plastic scans: http://pinballnovice.blogspot.com/search/label/Arena. It’s not much but hopefully it’s helpful. Also, nice job on the ramp!

December 7, 2018 at 4:49 am #105921I have searched and cannot find any public links. The destination sites have nothing, a search link result does not mean anything.
