    Good news, moderator Bord joined forces ( after his vacation ) solving the ‘moving meshes’ .

    First he tackled the ‘scoring cards’ problem in a few minutes !   Yeahhh he’s the Blender expert !

    Next and almost final step is the ‘wheel’

    Bord – blender expert ? Nah … B-) ;-)

    Great to see that this table is going forward, with or without Bord’s help. I’ve already been impress by what you’ve shown us, without “expert” help. I honestly believe that the best looking and playing tables are the ones than have been through a couple of members hands.

    Good news : the roulette is in vpx !  Thanx Bord

    Not so good news : can’t script the roulette myselve so if a member want to give it a shot

    then a release is almost there !!!  ( the vp9 version could help )

    Only some visual finetuning to do ( extra lightning and refining the moving slingshots ) and physics

    I’m not sure if this is any help, but the Gotllieb table Monte Carlo has a roulette wheel as well.   However; while it spins, it doesn’t always “work” correctly.  For example, the ball will land on a roulette number/color.  If memory serves me correctly, if you have red and the ball lands on red you should get a bonus, if it lands on red and the number you have, you should obviously get an even bigger bonus.  The problem is, the table rarely ever gives you the bonus if you hit it, and sometimes gives you the bonus if you don’t hit it.

    The creator of the table tried numerous times to get it correct, and never could and gave up.  You can read about it over on vpforums.  I’m thinking maybe you could look into his script and the support topic over there and get some ideas on this table.  Again, not sure if any of this helps!

    The script for the roulette wheel is working in the vp9 release. It uses a bunch of kickers and an array and should be pretty easy to insert into your table.

    I contacted the Monte Carlo table builder and he told me the roulette isn’t working properly

    Also he wished others would have helped him out without succes :-(

     

    What i want to achieve is that the roulette primitive can be used as a surface where the ball rolls over,

    not a wall.  The primitive is a little cone ( not flat ) with 12 holes at the outside , so the ball can fall (partly ) in

    Problem is how to create a kicker on the primitive ? Can’t select this

    Hopefully a scriptexpert will join ………

    Tee’d off also has a wheel, and that was very well implemented in VP.

    With Rothbauers efforts the roulette works !     THANX !!!

    Yet to figure out the correct blender output for the roulette image  ( it’s to big )
