May 26, 2020 at 1:39 am #182615So finally had a chance to try it out. Yep, ball is floaty for sure and is exactly how I would expect it to be. These physics are fine tuned and locked in and it shows there were dozens of hours of playtesting. As usual with VP, if you feel it’s a little slow for you, as Roth mentioned previously just raise the slope a bit and voila.
Bug report:Â when pressing the plunger via the button, sound is heard. But if using an analog input (like an xbox controller’s left trigger), it’s silent, no plunger sound effect is heard

I believe this is the regular behaviour on every table.
I also always hear the plunger sound only when using the button but not when using the analog plunger.
I guess it is on purpose, because when using an analog plunger it makes it’s own mechanical sound.
This could be the reason why, but of course I could be wrong :)You need to login in order to like this post: click here

This is indeed the reason.

May 26, 2020 at 8:58 am #182658For VR, I run most of these on my dedicated VR PC which is not hooked to the pincab so I use an xbox one controller when playing VP in VR. I’m surprised more people haven’t mentioned this before since I would think lot’s of desktop VP users have gotta be using a controller! … and I’m surprised I’ve never noticed this before (that I can recall, I am old lol).
Thanks for the response, this sure ain’t a deal breaker lol

October 14, 2020 at 11:33 pm #204840Absolutely stunning brother, the lighting looks right on the money. And I am sure the physics are second to none. Can’t wait to try it out:)
Wow just played a bunch of games and I was right. The physics are fantastic. They seem fine tuned and tested to a T. Just perfect. And the sounds! Oh the sounds! Best ball rolling sound I’ve heard yet and all of the little impact noises, just splendid man. You guys just created my new favorite EM table. Now I have to try out VR!!!

November 16, 2020 at 7:44 pm #210708Update:
1.2 – Added a VR version with a bar VR room by @Rawd (from Eight Ball).  VR room and playfield glass can be toggled in the script and right magna save turns off the VR room in game if it’s enabled in the script.
The original file can also be used for VR and has a backbox and fully working backglass. However, it doesn’t have the lower cabinet or the VR room environment. No changes have been made to the original table file.
