August 4, 2020 at 10:05 pm #193993Great work as always! For anyone working on this table besides the creators. I noticed that a lot of the walls and objects have a slingshot force of 8. So the ball come flying off and out of things super fast! I have been trying to locate all the areas on my table to help with some of the madness.  The table feels a bit bouncy or anti gravity? I’m not Criticizing your work at all (it’s a take it or leave it) I’m simply asking what I can change to make it less “bouncy” I have been reading through different tutorials and I’m just wondering what everyone else uses for a go to?
mat the end of the day, this is a great table and great release. All these tables coming to vpx is great, and just getting them this far is a huge step! Thanks for the awesome work and can’t wait to see what’s up your teams collective sleeves!

August 4, 2020 at 11:55 pm #194009Slingshot Force 8 for walls is the default value that VPX assign to any new wall. Maybe looking under those wall in different layers to see if – for example – there are rubbers or posts or other objects can help me more focalize the attention to that particular area or object.
I understand your post is to try to make it better and your works have good intentions.
Hopefully we all can find a way\solution to make it better, it’s really a crazy fun table.

December 5, 2020 at 3:15 am #213604Here is a funny story about a Blackwater
I bought one a few years back, the guy I bought it from said it irritated his wife and she had given an ultimatum to sell it before she got home from work, so I got it for nothing, took it home and plugged it in and the ball register button was not working at the start ramp, so it made a very loud and continuous motorbike engine revving sound that is supposed to turn off once the game starts, but it never did and this guy never knew that, so no wonder it drove his wife nuts, it never let up and what he also never realized was in the 4 years he had it the scoring never activated because the board didn’t know the game had started since it never got out of initial launch phase, it was a 15-minute fix and cost me nothing

December 5, 2020 at 5:21 am #213613I wouldn’t use the word bought for anything I would get for free. And, honestly, I believe I would tell the guy that this was an easy fix instead of taking advantage of it. Not, saying you did something wrong though.
