Hi All,
I was wondering if I could get some help with Cactus Canyon Continued. I have installed PROC, following the P-ROC-Installer-Tutorial. Everything went good. But when I run the table I get a VB Script Error “Cannot Load PROC”. Does anyone have an idea what is going on? When I click OK, the table runs with the stock DMD and I don’t know if all the options for Continued are running.
Thanks in advance.

April 20, 2019 at 2:35 pm #124742That’s the one I am using. P-ROC_Offline_Installer-v3.3. Only I have these problems.

April 20, 2019 at 2:41 pm #124743Haha! Welp….
sounds like you need to re step through the installation. Uninstall proc first and try again is about all I can say. Hopefully someone else can give you more advice.
i assume you have everything required to run proc?

April 20, 2019 at 3:09 pm #124749No go. I’m wondering if it has anything to do with the fact that PROC is installed on C: and my Visual Pinball is on D:
Maybe not, but maybe its looking in the root for PROC………hmmmmmm.
I wonder if symlink creator can help me with that. Throwing darts at the wall…………

April 20, 2019 at 4:22 pm #124753If VP is on another drive other than C then you need to edit the file register_vpcom.py located in C:\P-ROC\tools\. — Edit line 70:
logging.basicConfig(level=logging.INFO, format=”%(asctime)s – %(name)s – %(levelname)s – %(message)s”, filename=“D:/log.txt”)
And you may have to make a log.txt file on that driveOr apparently do what you did

April 21, 2019 at 9:30 am #124848Ok, my way also worked. But its not the right way. So I went with your way and it worked. I did have to copy the log.txt over to D: All is good again. Thanks for your help.
But that simlinkcreator.exe is an awesome little tool. I had to use it for World at War Zombies. The game puts all the zombie maps and mods on C: Needless to say, it fills up rather quick. So with that tool you can put everything in your WAW folder and create a link to the C: drive. It really comes in handy for stuff like that.
Thanks again

April 21, 2019 at 12:27 pm #124892Don’t need a tool for that – open cmd prompt and try “mklink”. It is included in your OS.

Now If I could only find the other p-roc vpx tables. Evil dead, jaws. I also heard that there was a judge dread made. Oh well i happy i have this

April 24, 2019 at 4:53 am #125285So am I. Its a really good table. I have since aquired Evil Dead. But it looks like a lot of work to get it to run. Too afraid to mess up something and screw up my OS.

August 8, 2019 at 11:32 am #141034I have tried to install and got the”uninstall” and “STEP 1 – Install Prerequisites.bat” to work by placing the “P-ROC_Offline_Installer-v3.3” directory on my C: Drive. Up until then it seems all is going well. The problem comes when I get to STEP 2 … it fails to install. I have my Visual Pinball X installed on my D: drive as well. Anyone know what I can do to get the install to complete?
