going to strip it down, remeasure it all then rebuild it. They did have lotr, playboy, supersonic, Mata hari and a few others but we’re not willing to sell them..
Got all new bolts today. Template made for the backbox cab hinges. Will get some made up as spares. Have to find out what lock bar I can get to suit this cab.You need to login in order to like this post: click here

Hey guys, does any one know what size screen I can use for the Playfield, I know it’s 535mm wide inside edge to inside edge and about 1100mm in length.

Depends if you want frameless look or a tv in the cab and see frame? I think everyone uses 40-42″ I use 47″ routered in sides of wide body style for nothing but frame look best thing is measure tv get one that fits or won’t fit without routering in

Thanks randr, frameless with out the bezel. Got a 32″ but it’s not long enough looks like a 40inch with routing done.

you will still have a space either on top or bottom. try to get 42 or bigger to fit. i use 47″ in a standard widebody and is perfect top bottom fit but needs routering on sides which is perfect frameless all way around.

On a standard cab I’ve used 39″ tv’s that fit absolutely perfectly (side to side) without being decased.They are so perfect you couldn’t slide a piece of paper between the monitor and the side rail. There is a gap on front and back, but I made rear panels for the LED flashers and a small apron for the front which was basically a L-shaped piece of carbon steel.

that will make an awesome cab!! your going to leave the cabinet artwork right?? i have a better than new PM in my collection and i love the artwork on it! I dont even want to think about what happened to the rest of that game, there was only 1200 to begin with i guess that makes 1199…

Nate, they guy did not want to sell the rest of it. I have still got a few PCB boards worth a few hundred each. Here’s is another pic of the Bg. 5mm perspex cut. T trying to see how much room is left, might put mobo in backbox.

OK guys update on the cab, Pinball Magic cab BER. So called a mate made a whole new cab, 15mm Ply. Turned out quite good, well in one days work.

40″ LCD LG, lcd tilts from the front of the cab. Will work out side bars and lockdown bar during the week.
