This seems to be a user defined modification. There is no such thing in the manual.
And there is also none on this machine…
i saw the same but when you zoom in to OlDirtys pics you can see that something could be there….

April 26, 2019 at 8:34 am #125650Wow, you really killed it on lighting Knorr! It makes all the difference for the immersion of the table. Thank you again for your dedication to seeing the project through without compromise. It is truly a work of art.

April 26, 2019 at 8:50 am #125652Yeah my TOM didn’t have the post mod and ball would get stuck and break the trunk! So I added it. Same on CV I’m sure some never got the kit installed

April 26, 2019 at 11:15 am #125675WOW! This is probably the best VPX table ever made! I’ll be forever devoted to all devs and the so talented authors, Knorr, Clark Kent, Randr, Dark!
Sadly I experience heavy stuttering (mostly when lightnings kicks in) as other noticed.
I have an i7 4790k@4.8GHz and a GTX 1080. When this happens I see FPS dropping from 300+ to 100 or less. Is there anything I can do? I’m using a plain desktop configuration, no B2s and no external hardware/toys.I have the same problem. So a pity with such a great table.
It’s not the hardware, it’s high-end. The CPU goes from 30% to 90% when the lights in the multi-ball stroboscope flash.
This table shows the best graphics on this planet! Please fix this, it would be a pity.

April 26, 2019 at 11:33 am #125678It must be some setting on those powerful rigs, because the table plays perfectly on my much weaker setup. My system cannot hold a candle to an i7 + GTX 1080 combo.

April 26, 2019 at 11:37 am #125679There’s always going to be a processing hit from flashers. It’s not a sign that anything is wrong. Might have to tweak your settings to compensate. The above example states a drop to 100fps, which is more than most refresh rates anyway. It isn’t something I would automatically place on the author to correct.

April 26, 2019 at 12:14 pm #125687Great table and great looking. Cheers. However, the flippers are sticking. I’m sure I’m running latest version of pinmame. Any help please. So want to play this one….Edit…Found the solution. Hadn’t installed pinmame 3.2. Was on 3.1… … …And had a good go of this table and I love it. Brilliant job… …

April 26, 2019 at 1:13 pm #125701I’ve had performance issues with lights on other tables in the past. For me it turned out to be the force 4x AA in the display settings. Try turning that off if not already and see if that improves performance. My machine is not a powerhouse by any means and I don’t get any stuttering on this table.

April 26, 2019 at 1:40 pm #125708Thank you Knorr, the latest 1.1 release does solve the missing bell sound for the dB2S too!
Now we could add also a cannon shot maybe too. :D

April 26, 2019 at 2:27 pm #125710Maybe we can break down the issue step by step.
Try the table in different states.
Be sure you turned off playfield reflections – it does nothing on this table and will force some heavy load on the cpu/gpu.
Then try
Without/with:
-loading from frontend
-db2s
After that tinkle with the graphic settings in vp…

If you do not use the animated third screen you should disable the fantasy mode.

April 26, 2019 at 3:39 pm #125719Thanks for this great release Knorr but I am having an issue where the machine loses track of the number of balls in play. Start a game, soft plunge and let it drain so ball save will give you another ball in the shooter lane except it will give you multiple balls like 3-4. I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this but happening on yesterday and today’s v1.1 update for me too.
