Thanks for this table – it looks great. However, I’m not sure if I understand the rules correctly, but when the middle section (one flipper and two balls) is switched on for me, I can’t get out of there. I hit 3 targets with no end in sight. What does it take to get out of this?

@swietlikowa : I see now what you mean. There must be a setting in the rom to adjust the time or something. I’ll have to look it up. Very nice re-creation though. I have a feeling this will get some play time in the weeks to come.

@swietlikowa : Try this nvram – it should have a more restrictive settings. It is possible to take it one notch down, but, if I understood the rules correctly, it is now also a bit harder to qualify for that “mode/area”.

I can confirm this does work. Still seems like you are up there a bit long. However; on my first play, I was able to knock one of the two balls in uptown off the ramp. This resulted in a ball drain and of course, a ball now missing from uptown.

The nvram from Thal is the way to go, otherwise there seems to be no end to uptown. Also, based on the PAPA video I think the end radius of the main flippers looks a bit too chunky, reduced mine a couple notches to 15, think they’re more true to life and play better now. Great job on this table

Dang…just loaded this up, looks great but it’s almost midnight. Oh wait! I took this week off!! I know what I’m drinking beers to for the next few hours. Might have to watch some of the vids, this is a crazy layout. Has nice blouse-art.

There are multiple modes for the ‘uptown’ play. I thought the included nvram has
the ’10 seconds playtime’ option. Tested here on 2 computers
You can manually adjust this in the rom, like the balls per game adjustment.
Have tested this game hundreds of times and never a ball escaped from the uptown playfield. On layer 2 is ‘plasticramp uptown’ You can adjust the lef-right wall a bit .
I used the same flippers as ‘strange science’ . Think these flippers are shaped a bit different as the usual ones.

Thanks @thalamus ! Now after a short period of time, the target shooting in “UpTown” stops and a second ball is thrown to be knocked out by the plunger. The game can be continued. Before, I was like trapped, it was impossible to stop.
