Thanks to all those who helped to make this table in VP8 and VP9 Destruk – Kristian – Dboyrecords, I hope not to forget anyone. especially thanks to 32Assassins who is always there to help when it is most needed, you are my savior, thanks also to all the people who helped in any way to finish this table, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
If they find errors (sure there are), let me know and within my possibilities I will solve them.
Thanks Bord for allow me to use your primitive post and also to JPS for those who borrow the idea of the mobile target in their table Black Pyramid

September 9, 2018 at 1:34 pm #97851For some reason, I get the following error when trying to run this table. Other tables are running fastflips fine with no errors. I’m running the latest Vpinmame3.1 and Vpinball 10.5. The errors are:
VPMflips error: Variable is undefined
and then:
UseSolendoids = 2 error!
GameOnSolenoid is not defined!
Any ideas?

October 8, 2018 at 10:30 am #100577Thanks for this great looking table.
I have a few notes:
The flippers have different sound for the upper or lower ones.
Also it’s possible to operate the upper and lower flipper by pressing the button half or full down. And at last: I think the table is much too fast.
I don’t play the real thing. I only see this interesting video. Maybe some of the suggestions are possible.
If not; I like to play the table as he is.

October 8, 2018 at 1:10 pm #100580@joey2001 : Are you running the hardware needed for staged flippers ? Do you mean that the flippers in the table has different sound, or they should have because it is like that in the video ?

I would be nice, if the flippers have different sounds like shown in the video.
And I don’t have double flipper leaf switches at the moment. I have a normal leaf switch.
But it would be nice to have them, when it’s possible to program this in VPX.You need to login in order to like this post: click here
October 8, 2018 at 1:55 pm #100584@joey2001 : It already is possible – if you get the double leaf switches. Don’t know the details since I don’t have them myself. Was added to the previous core.vbs. I didn’t know about the flippers before you just told me. Since most people only have single leaf switches – if you try to implement that correctly I don’t see any other way than that for most people one flipper pair would not work at all. Or one could maybe use the magna save buttons to make them separate that way. But, that wouldn’t really be correct either.
Only by owning the hardware needed can you emulate it correctly – that’s my point.

Thalamus for the win! That was the problem… I had an old s6.vbs in my tables folder, and the updated s6.vbs in my scripts folder. I deleted the old version in my tables folder, and everything works great!

October 10, 2018 at 11:46 am #100734Joey I think it’s good what he says, but as thalamus said, it seems that almost nobody could play the table, because the hardware to work the fins, is not widespread yet, it would be good to be able to put it as an option or within the script changing a 1 for a 0, but the truth is that I do not know how to do it, it would be a job for someone more experienced, do not forget that I’m just an improvised, not an author, I do it for fun and to give something to this great community of which I obtained so much, the different sounds for the fins is something simpler, that could do it, I would ask you to send me the sounds in wav format to try them, as for the physics I reviewed several videos, since I never saw the table original, the video on which I base for this table was this
but if it seems to most of you that the table is too fast, I could review it and change the physics to make it slower, so I expect more comments about it so I can see if I make these changes

October 10, 2018 at 3:45 pm #100751I might look at it at a later date. I don’t think you need other samples. Felt like this is just a signal thing. Doesn’t sound like a huge task to implement if I’m right. But, as always, I often believe that before actually trying it on my own – LOL. 32a would be able to fix it in minutes if I’m right though

October 10, 2018 at 6:08 pm #100756Hmm. Began to play with the idea. Haven’t looked at the un-released core.vbs yet. But, to me it seems not possible with current core.vbs as long as useSolenoids=2.
Example:
1. Separate solenoid handlers for upper and lower flipper
SolCallback(sLLFlipper) = ”vpmSolFlipper LeftFlipper,Nothing,”
SolCallback(sULFlipper) = ”vpmSolFlipper ULeftFlipper,Nothing,”
2. Same solenoid handler for upper and lower flipper
SolCallback(sLRFlipper) = ”vpmSolFlipper RightFlipper, URightFlipper,”
But in current core.vbs
' (Public) .CallbackL - String input. Points to Left Flipper callback sub. If UseSolenoids = 2, vpmInit automatically steals SolCallback(sLLFlipper).
' (Public) .CallbackR - String input. Points to Right Flipper callback sub. If UseSolenoids = 2, vpmInit automatically steals SolCallback(sLRFlipper).
' (Public) .CallbackUL - String input. Upper Left Flipper callback sub. If UseSolenoids = 2, vpmInit automatically steals SolCallback(sULFlipper).
' (Public) .CallbackUR - String input. Upper Right Flipper callback sub. If UseSolenoids = 2, vpmInit automatically steals SolCallback(sURFlipper).
