November 28, 2020 at 1:56 pm #212480Not the game I’ll be playing every day. But, still, I appreciate having a few of these bagatelle pinball’s in the collection. Thank you very much. Love that you added a high score to it. Games without that, tends to not be played as much. Guys coming over always want to beat my score and set their mark.

November 28, 2020 at 7:54 pm #212514Dear builder
I congratulate infinitely the beauty made
It is a work of art…..
But I have a problem: the backglass shows the score reels at “zero” (0), but when pressing number 1 (START) they all set to “three” (3), and the sum does not count well … have you noticed that problem?
I will appreciate your answer
Again congratulationsmy mail quicel@gmail.com

November 28, 2020 at 9:33 pm #212516Spending time with this now! I grew up with and still have a Lindstrom’s Gold Star which is a slightly smaller table top game from that era. And your time spent recording actual sounds paid off. ‘Nailed’ it!~ The tings are dead-on. Wow, very cool. Also love the BG but am also having the 3333 issue but I was in a hurry to play so didn’t investigate. More curious about what the lady is doing with that wand-spoon thingy!!
Really appreciate the time taken to bring something like this to vpx.

November 29, 2020 at 2:09 am #212545I just did a quick fix of not fixing it – commenting out the whole line. I’ll probably look in to it if there isn’t a table update. I believe the issue is that the author already has a save game score file or something in that direction. I must say, I kept playing this more than I expected yesterday. Really well done.

November 29, 2020 at 4:04 am #212568Thanks, really love that too …
Some Things:
On directb2s, you have to Set the Values on Reels, see yellow-marked …
62 – 64, you don’t need that Lines, because it comes already from controller.vbs
I am not sure, but check you Variables, all should be with the same case-sensitive
For all Controller.B2S Commands, do it with: … if B2SOn Then …
Then is is fine for DT and FS(Cab) Users …For the 397 Error, i think there are 2 Subs missing … check your template Table, or from where you copied that.

November 29, 2020 at 4:18 am #212569This two should be the missing, add that just to the Script …
Sub SaveHighScore
Set FileObj=CreateObject(“Scripting.FileSystemObject”)
If Not FileObj.FolderExists(UserDirectory) then
Exit Sub
End if
Set ScoreFile=FileObj.CreateTextFile(UserDirectory & HighScoreFilename,True)
ScoreFile.WriteLine HSAHighScore
ScoreFile.Close
Set ScoreFile=Nothing
Set FileObj=Nothing
End SubSub SetDefaultHSTD ‘bad data or missing file – reset and resave
HSAHighScore = DefaultHighScore
SaveHighScore
End SubYou need to login in order to like this post: click here

November 29, 2020 at 7:05 am #212601Hi All,
Update with changes suggested by @stefanaustria done so with any luck those with issues will now be up and running.
@jfr1 The wand-spoon thing is a wooden cue. I have one with the table but have no idea what the reason for it was when there was a perfectly good plunger. Looking back at the history I think the first games had no plunger then they added one and changed the scoring to be double scores with the plunger or half with the cueThe triangle of pins on the left gives you back all “lost” balls, the square on the right is game over
I’m glad you are all having fun, as mentioned by some others I also won’t be playing it the most on my cab but thought it was an important part of pinball history that was missing and I had a table to copy…. but it is strangely addictive and great for the younger (or older) ones
