September 8, 2020 at 4:40 pm #200302I don’t want to be bitching. But, sharing dropbox like this isn’t really the best way to do it. My suggestion would be to create some kind of screenshot/graphic to go with your archive and then upload it like any other resource ( I won’t approve anything without grapics/screenshots anymore). Here at vpinball, there is no problem linking uploads to mega, dropbox or other sites. The added benefit would be that you can get a support thread, and maybe even more important, a easy and standardized way of telling us if anything has changed via a change-log and version numbers. Just my 2’cents on the matter. I downloaded the previous shared link, just haven’t had the time to test it yet and – currently, I don’t know if this one is the same.

September 8, 2020 at 8:03 pm #200333Oh. It’s fine – no need to delete thread or anything :) I just think that wip work and version would benefit this once I’ve got time to try it and maybe give some feedback on it. Right now, I don’t have a clue what version you’re at. I know of at last 3 different uploads on different sites. If it is still work in progress. Aversion number below 1.0 is a good choice. Once you feel it is done, then 1.0 should be applied and after that, minor changes 1.1 or 1.0.1 depending on how much of a change there really is. Again, my point of view.

September 11, 2020 at 9:43 am #200617Tried your pinsound package yesterday and my verdict is as follows. First of all, you have to remember that I’m one of those purist guys that seldom stray away from the original. Technically, it think you’ve done a very good job. Personally I would have picked a different kind of “theme”, simply because of the tables theme. Just know, I don’t have any table/machine setup with pinsound as default. If however I owned this machine for real, I would most probably get quite easily bored of the original, and, I believe that if I owned the pinsound system, I would run this, at least for a while. I’m more of a heavy metal guy – so, that is that too.

September 11, 2020 at 10:01 am #200626I truly appreciate you trying this out! Thanks a ton for the input. I will try to keep honing it and changing things as I play it and get bored or annoyed with a sound. Thanks again for the guidance. P. S. There’s a new deftones album coming this month?
