For everyone who has the updatematerial error, you need to update your vpx 10.6 to the last beta which is here on the site;
https://vpinball.com/VPBdownloads/vpx-installer-10-6-0/And make sure while you’re there to update to the latest sambuild;
http://vpuniverse.com/forums/topic/4278-sambuild33-beta-thread/?tab=comments&#comment-45992Commenting out that line will make the table look not quite as awesome and stop it from dynamically altering the materials on the playfield.

May 30, 2020 at 5:19 am #18353910.6 Beta – you meant 10.7 – and a Question, this is needed now ?
I read About the missing directb2s Support, it is possible now ?
Have some Stutters here, and also set all Values to lower as Always, down-resized 4K Images …
Ok, “solved”, i optimized my System again …You need to login in order to like this post: click here
May 30, 2020 at 5:26 am #183540No, I mean 10.6 beta 3788 (Oct 19), that’s what I’m using and used for SST which needs that too, it’s what I’m using. Every single time I’ve got people to check, they’ve not been using that one.
No-one should be using 10.7 apart from table devs at the moment…(IMO)
Same with sambuild 5022, worth updating that too (because among other things it fixes the later Sega game display issues in general).You need to login in order to like this post: click here

May 30, 2020 at 7:38 am #183563Hey guys, Not sure if anyone also has seen this, but I seem to have a form DMD that’s blacked out in behind the actual DMD. I have to alt / tab and kill the process. Doesn’t happen on any other table. Any ideas what it could be?Â
Beautiful work from the VP masters as usual  Thank you fellows :)

May 30, 2020 at 9:52 am #183603vpx 10.6 to the last beta
Why not 10.6 final? As far as I see it was released after the last beta?

May 30, 2020 at 10:04 am #18360610.6 Final should be fine. If someone could try to locale fix suggested earlier, I’d be curious if that would fix it.
Regarding the rolling sounds. There is a section near line 2220 where you can adjust the sound volumes for various sound effects. In particular you could try changing the following line:
RollingSoundFactor = 1.1/5
to
RollingSoundFactor = 1.1
Current Project: Perpetual updates of VPX physics.

May 30, 2020 at 6:59 pm #183665Agreed, 10.6 final is what I have and it supports the ‘updatematerial’ command. Make sure you have overwritten old scripts and you don’t have any floating around outside your ‘scripts’ folder.

May 31, 2020 at 1:07 am #183682May 31, 2020 at 3:01 am #183688Very nice table :)
All working well – VPX 10.6 Final, VPM 3.3 r5022 and the new version of dw_l2 from VPU.
I am seeing a ball stutter, but only at a very specific point – when the balls are released from the time expander they stutter as they head toward the flippers.
No issues when the 3 balls are moving freely in play though which is strange – anything else going on at that point?I do have the settings pretty cranked up (Forced 4x AA included) but I’m only running 1080p and have a GTX970 which isn’t giving any issues in other tables.
I’ve not tried disabling AO on this specific table or made any changes as yet though, just wondering if anyone else was seeing this?

May 31, 2020 at 4:43 am #183691I always disable “Windows Live Security” if you are on Win 10, and mostly “Playfield Reflections”, Maybe also “Ball Reflections” ( here and there resized large Images down to 1080 ) … this solved my Micro Stutters.
