Now with DOFLinx becoming the new standard for Future Pinball cabinet support, I suppose it would be a good idea to help newcomers when it comes to modding a table to support DOFLinx.

I decided, since I’m doing another DOFLinx mod of a Future Pinball table…why not record myself doing some of it and make a multi-part video tutorial from it.

The table I’m modding is Jaws (Ultimate Edition).

This is a complete video series, showing how to mod a Future Pinball table to give it full DOFLinx cabinet support for feedback, lighting, and cabinet toys.

    Part 1: Initial Setup

    Part 2: Flippers and Slingshots

    Part 3: Bumpers

    Part 4: Kickers

    Part 5: Drop Targets

Part 6: First Cabinet Test – Solenoids

    Part 7: RGB Flashers

Part 8: First RGB Flashers test in a cabinet

Part 9: Animated RGB Flasher Effects

Part 10: Animated RGB Flasher Effects, Cabinet Demo

Part 11: Button Lights (Start, Coin, Launch)

Part 12: TILT, RGB UnderCabinet Lighting

Part 13: Shaker, Gear Motor, Blower Fan

    Part 14: Strobes and Beacons

    Part 15: Finishing Touches

    … and ALL DONE!
There you have it…. a complete video tutorial series that shows me modding the Future Pinball table “Jaws (Ultimate Edition 1.05)” for DOFLinx cabinet support.

I hope that you find this helpful and I also hope others will realize that adding DOFlinx support to a Future Pinball is much easier than you think.

Awesome tutorial series.  Successfully added some animated flashers to my Minions WIP last night and worked like a charm.  The key is using an existing game script for reference along with the videos.  Thanks so much TerryRed.

Sounds great. Looking forward to it.

I’m the type of person that needs at least one good example to start from….and after that I’m off! So I hope this will help others for a long time from now….and maybe some of the Future Pinball table authors that were considering a cabinet will look at this as well….

Amazing Videos! well done Terry! You should do a blog here!

Messing with the VPinball app and push notifications.
So if you haven't downloaded app yet what are you waiting for!?
