Why Stern’s Dracula? Primarily because I was able to get a great looking PF scan from a Pinside member. It is also a cool Harry Williams design.
Is it just about the most cluttered art design I’ve ever seen? Probably.
Is it fun to play? Yup.
Use ROM “dracula”.
The ROM emulation doesn’t seem to be 100%. The chime solenoids don’t register at all so you’ll have to run it, then F6 and select “Computer Type Sounds” in order to get ROM audio. Hell, we should have a drinking game to see how many “The sound doesn’t work…” comments land in the thread despite this note.
Hauntfreaks B2S available in table download.
If you have any tweaks or changes you think will make this better hit me in the thread or PM and we’ll work on making this the best VPX table it can be.

January 26, 2017 at 12:17 pm #46454Looks beautiful. Â Just did my standard setup tweaks and that playfield is really crisp and popping. Â Thanks a bunch for the table and to whoever provided the nice resources.

January 26, 2017 at 12:32 pm #46456What controls the volume on these old Stern tables? Â I was trying to adjust the volume in Meteor last night also and couldn’t find it… the editor options don’t seem to affect them. Â The default is really loud.
*edit* Â Never mind… default volume keys… duh.

I changed the DOF config as the knocker fires off with each ball and I don’t want to wake up the house too much :).
@Drybonz: I was wondering if you want to share your standard setup tweaks :)? I’m curious what you tweak for these kind of tables. You need to login in order to like this post: click here
January 27, 2017 at 5:25 am #46550Standard tweaks for me start with POV (usually have to change a bit because I play in portrait), plug in my favorite editor options (reflections, ball, settings) environment, lighting, then start with materials, table lights, sometimes edits to images (usually color balance), then physics (usually check flippers, slings and table physics, sometimes more).
It varies from table to table.

January 29, 2017 at 6:28 am #46686Here is my problem and it is only with Dracula. I changed the script to run the DRACULA rom instead of the freeplay but when I insert coins I hear the sound but get no credits. If I go to VPMAME test it works and then I can play the table with the saved credits (no sound support). any suggestions on how to correct this?
