Fireball 2 has been out for ages;
see my first post their are many Bally/Midway tables that need a more accurate bumper cap
Fire 2 decal was the first “Clean” decal image I found.
I do have a finished Kings of Steel that is getting this bumpers. if anyone knows what happened to
Popotte, I sent him a PM a few months ago asking if I could use his plastic resources and never heard from him.

November 20, 2019 at 7:22 pm #151744I’m really in the wrong room at the moment…but thanks again to the brilliant minds gathering here to pound stuff out. It is fascinating to follow.

March 30, 2020 at 4:10 pm #169543Holy crap I now remember exactly how bad I was at this game 30 or so years ago when I was in high school. Losing the ball in the same ways I remember (direct rebound from post between left chute & multipliers, a multitude of ways the ball makes it’s way into the right drain & most infuriatingly when it finds it’s way behind the upper flipper and squeezes out then down the left drain). Also the way going up the left chute sometimes misses the switch. Almost perfect in it’s functionality, can’t wait to try on my incoming 4k setup (only playing on an old work laptop now). Great fun!
Now if Firepower can only be redone with the same level of graphics, etc. my trip down memory lane will be complete. The sound effects on that one are already fairly spot on as I recall them, graphics aren’t quite there yet. Thanks!

March 31, 2020 at 10:17 am #169622craigb86: Sounds like you appreciated similar pins as I did. I can’t recommend enough you try all of Bord’s tables, they are all excellent. https://vpinball.com/uploader/bord/
Roth: yeah that firepower is excellent. the AI blows me away, I wish this was plug and play’able into other tables

April 1, 2020 at 12:49 pm #169862Can’t wait to try out that Firepower, art looks awesome and the AI aspect is intriguing. I just tried it and get a script error line 1 Object doesn’t support this property or method… but I just replaced the original Firepower table I had, I haven’t looked into if it’s different ROMs etc. Thanks for the info!

April 1, 2020 at 1:24 pm #169867Not 100% certain but this sometimes related to outdated VBS files. Unsure how you are set up but VBS files should only be found in the script folder nowadays so take a look and ensure your VP is updated with 10.6 final and the accompanying .VBS files are in the script folder and nowhere else; which is typically the issue, some can also be found in the tables folder, if they are the older versions, you will have issues.

April 1, 2020 at 1:55 pm #169877I figured out that I had not started my B2S server (because I didn’t know about it). I have a fairly new and clean install using the all in one installer with just 2 or 3 tables right now.
Just got done having my butt kicked by the Ai. This might be my new favorite table. I don’t think it’s quite as photo realistic as the Eight Ball Deluxe is, IE the flippers and some other areas look a little 2D compared to that, but it’s 99.9% there and the game play is fun as hell. And I think a big chunk of my enjoyment from this game is the sound effects, which are perfect I think.
Thanks!

August 22, 2020 at 11:27 am #197419Great, absolutely brutal rendition of this machine.
Took me a few games to get used to, but now going to try for some higher scores.
Unfortunately, have to choose between 4k in desktop mode or 1080p in portrait with no visible scoring (or the backglass up on my 65″ screen while my laptop stands on it’s side). Will be working on setting up a better monitor situation.
For anyone who downloads this, if you start a game and no ball kicks out, press B to add a ball to the trough, I had to add two.
