Environment.HDR image. work notes

Ref : Image rendering light probes.
With GIMP
1. manufacture 2 x 1024 by 512 image canvas.
2. Fill one canvas with black ink
3. Copy one of the Light probe images onto the transparent second alpha canvas.
4. Export the image as a HDR file.
5. Import the new environment image into Visual Pinball.
6. Select the Table surface with your mouse.
7. In the Table Properties Editor under Lighting select the Environment Emission Image list box : and locate your new image.
8. Experiment and see what you get

my observation notes
After using the Environment Emission Image i could see that the primitive ball image came into line with the HDR image quality, well it was pretty close to it. (An image embedded on another object will make that object look like it is reflecting as it does in nature).
It looks like the PNG image in the primitive ball has been enhanced.
