File ôö cannot be found

Hello team,

When I launch Pinball FX2 (local version not Steam) the app is not sarting.
Using alt-tab, i have in the background an error message saying “Windows ne trouve pas ‘ôö’..Vérifiez que vous que vous avez entré le nom correct…” (sorry french Windows ! ). This could translate with : Windows cannot find ‘ôö’. Please check you entered the correct name.

Lauch script for Pinball FX2 :

@echo off
START “” “[STARTDIR]Launch\VPXSTARTER.exe” 5 1 5 “Pinball FX2.exe”
cd /d  [DIREMU]
START “”  “Pinball FX2.exe” -applaunch -table [GAMENAME]

In the same system Pinball fx3 launches normally.

Any idea ?

this is a common error when you copy/paste text from websites.

you have ‘bad’ characters in your launch script.

Usually its fancy double quotes.  Remove all double quotes and type them in manually for example.
