Holy S 3rdaxis. You are a genius. I have only been a lurcher in these forums up until this point. After the release of this gem, it is definitely worthy of comment. Awesome work! Exciting to see where this hobby is going.

July 31, 2019 at 2:41 pm #139791Absolutely fantastic table. The sounds, visuals and gameplay are all awesome.
I checked the notes and the script, but have not been able to turn off AI. Ideally, I would like to leave AI off and then turn it back on occasion when I want to get my butt whooped for a game or two.
I changed the lines in the script so all players should be human, but players 2-4 are always the AI. What else can I do to turn off AI for all players?

Thanks brother it was a labor of love.
If you want to turn off the AI completely you can do it in-game by simply hitting the right flipper and changing the player status lights to all green.
If you do go into the script to over-ride this it should look like this…
Change_PlayerSetup = 1 ‘0=Off 1=On (This will override and lockout the option to change in-Game)
myPrefs_Player1Setup = 0 ‘0=Human 1=Computer
myPrefs_Player2Setup = 0 ‘0=Human 1=Computer
myPrefs_Player3Setup = 0 ‘0=Human 1=Computer
myPrefs_Player4Setup = 0 ‘0=Human 1=ComputerThis will change all the players to human and lock out the ability to change it in-game.

August 6, 2019 at 3:22 pm #140843I said it once (I think in this thread) and I’ll say it again. A masterpiece. My all-time favourite table. I don’t even think I’d like the real deal as much as this because 3rdaxis’ soundtrack for this table is just so good. Looking forward to what you’re going to bring us next!!

January 26, 2020 at 1:08 pm #160659WOW!
I finally downloaded this last night and I can’t stop playing.
Hal 9000 does flipper passes and nudges the table. This is so impressive.
I actually learned a few tricks by watching the “master” play. LOL
3rd Axis how did you ever come up with this idea? And a couple of follow up questions: How in the world did you script it? Will you be able to do this with your other tables?
I yelled at him when he did a flipper pass the first time. “Let me beat you!” I was waiting for him to say “I’m sorry Mark, I’m afraid I can’t do that”
Super impressed!

January 26, 2020 at 1:51 pm #160669lol thanks man. It is fun as Hell to play. The idea came out of me wanting a way for the table to play itself for stress testing the physics, looking for places the ball may get stuck etc. First did it on my LBP tables long ago. Then it morphed into the realization that with a bit of logic I could actually play the computer. With a lot of help (and beer) from Slydog43 and a ton of effort from rothbauerw it solidified into what you have today. As far as being able do to it on other tables I’m not so sure because it’s hard to grab the variables needed to run the logic from say a modern pin. Firepower was doable because of the rom controlled lights in the backbox that I could use to know what player is up and when the game is over. Hard to do that with the DMD. So yea, this might just be the first and last of it’s kind.

January 26, 2020 at 2:44 pm #160679I hit the like button…but darn. Was hoping this AI might pop up elsewhere. Centaur? “Bad move human!” Really is mind blowing.
