Hello,
i use a mini monitor (1024 x 768) for the DMD and the Freezy tool (DMDEXT 1.7).
Why is the resolution of the DMD so bad.
What must i change in the dmddevice.ini for a better DMD picture ?
Have you a tipp for me ?
kindly regards
Klaus

Did you try changing set your DMD dotsize?
; scale the dot size (set to 0.8 for same size as pre-1.6.0)
dotsize = 0,8
(depending your Windows version use 0,8 or 0.8)

Thanks Marie,
my windows version use 0,8 and this is the solution. Very simple when i know that. This is the nice picture after i change the dotsize to 0,8 instead 0.8 ->
You make me happy . Thank you.

How you change your resolution for 1024 x 768?? I got a monitor that fits that resolution an 1920 x 1080 and Im not able to “force” the proportions to fit, its always with a very low width, and Im not able to change it in the INI File….

Most dmd’s are 128×32 – so to have them look good you should multiply with an integer so that the scale will be correct. 128×32 * 2 = 256×64 – and continue on that. Then adjust the dot size.

Ive put like 1920 x 1100 with 1.0, its good but I got lot of black screen at the top and bottom, In this case, should I increase resolution or just dot size? Will I invade the other screens? Thanks for the help
