Trying to setup Freezy DMD with a virtual DMD(Just window it onto My back glass screen). I have followed the setup but no luck. I installed the lastest Freezy 1.6 Unzipped and put everything in its place. Then i set up DmdDevice.ini as it said, i then lauch a table then open game options and put a check by “use external DMD”, i close the table then when i relaunch it just crashes VPX(10.5). Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a copy of my DmdDevice.ini —

I use a pindmd2 but if your not using a “real” dmd you should not be checking use external dmd. You could also set all real dmd as false so it don’t try to look for them. That’s all I can say without trying it on desktop setup

actually “use external dmd (dll)”  is needed for virtual DMDs too in order to work with the Freezy DMD.
Did you also uncheck “show DMD display window” for the corresponding table?

Regarding the ini, I agree with Randr and would set all real DMDs to false

You said you put everything in it’s place when you installed… you sure you didn’t miss a location? Or have another version in pinmame folder still?

                You’ve installed the other requirements ? .net and c-runtime ? win10 or win7 ? If win7 – you might need this microsoft patch https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26767
