So I decided to try out color dmds. I can get them to work no problem, but a lot of my dmds are in different locations. I found in the faq to save individual games you go into the dmd.ini file and use this :
[baywatch]
pindmd2 enabled = false
virtualdmd enabled = true
virtualdmd left = 2500
virtualdmd top = 800
virtualdmd width = 1024
virtualdmd height = 256My questions are: The game name, is that the roms name or the table name in your vpx folder? And where exactly do you put this in the ini file? Any where or do I put it at the top?

This is how mine is currently setup. So I would put it right after pinup?

May 17, 2019 at 11:25 pm #128692Hey that got it working! I really enjoy these few color Dmds out there. I have a question. Does anyone else notice stuttering when using them? I downloaded the totan one and I swear it stutters more when the color dmd is on. Is this my imagination or is this a known thing?

May 18, 2019 at 8:56 am #128728Hmm I’m not sure. I grabbed everything recently. Is there a way to tell? I mean I’m sure there is, where do I look? I put almost all the color mods from vpu on but this seems like the only one that stutters. I may just be imagining it.

May 18, 2019 at 9:29 am #128730You would hope it was only a question of retrieving the version number by right clicking -> properties -> details and then look at version field. But, it requires that the developer has been tidy. I just checked my dmddevice – says 1.7.2 – I know it isn’t. It is actuall 1.7.1 mjr patched.

May 24, 2019 at 3:26 pm #129292I believe freezies 1.71 is the only current version that supports full color. The newer versions are said to have bugs.

Make a copy of your DmdDevice.ini so you don’t lose Dmd placement of better yet. You don’t even have to copy that over.
