FTP type site????

Hello all,
I do not know how easy it would be to rig something up that could possibly be subscription based….
Sadly – I do not have the knowledge to do this.
Is there a way with VP games, roms, PF videos etc they could be uploaded to a ‘FTP’ site, so when we turn on our cab we can get the new games/versions directly onto our cabs hard drive?
Am I being totally mad or is this a good idea?

Can be done easy and is being done by some people and I think it’s awful idea! If you don’t want to learn how this stuff works you will never get anything working properly. Take some time and learn this stuff is all very basic setup then you can update what you want when you want. Plus it’s kinda fun

I can set the tables up fine – its just the fact I download mainly on a different computer. Would be great in my opinion but hey -thats just my 2 cents. i just find downloading stuff on my cab a bit of a pain.

I had the same suggestionn i think. See my post call “table and files …” don’t remember the exact title. Randr told me aboit a guy freezy that are in the wip to allow this kind of stuff . Take a look and tell me if it’s what you mean.
