fuzzy backglass / EXE vs standard b2s

I am almost sure I installed everything new when 10.6 came out, I made 2 tables for STTNG, one with backglass and the other table renamed Star Trek TNG PUP, with a different rom to play the PUP.  It pulls up the PUP fine but a different Star trek backglass comes up too in front of it.  I thought the new version of B2s addressed that or is there a setting I need to change

I’m sure you can set option in screenres.txt file but not sure what line you would change to “1” to set that as it’s a new option I have not looked at yet

I haven’t really tested much I have a 3 screen setup so it really doesn’t interfere with me but you might have to do something like this

ok, installed the latest version from the link you sent, unblocked everything, transferred the 4 files over to the tables folder, ran b2s registration, even restarted computer and I still don’t have those options on my backglass setting, am I missing a step?

That is very weird It says you’re on the right version but that’s not it

You may have to right click the file and (run as Administrator
Do you run other programs as Administrator?
I run windows 10 and I do not run anything as Administrator

it was the b2s table setting file.  I took it out of the table folder and it worked.  Do you need that file still?  I know I deleted it in the past and I regretted it.

If you right click any back glass and Save settings it should automatically create that file

ok I modified the thread because I figured out the issue.  I had default on b2s set to standard.  when I changed a backglass to exe mode, that screen changed and gave me the fuzzy backglass option.  I know there was talk before and I cant remember what was said without going back but is everyone in exe mode now???  when I took out the b2stablesetting file everything defaulted to exe mode and some of my pup packs stopped working.  I put my old file back and they started working.

Yes you want start this back glass in EXE mode and you want default start mode in exe
Pretty much you’re looking to have it set up like the image I put above about 7 posts ago or something like that

Cab.  If I remember right, about 2 years ago when I was getting started I had issues with certain tables not starting and I figured out that it had to do with backglass in exe or standard.  I think that was over at vpf, I will have to look back through my posts.

With the back glass in EXE mode if you have puppacks that do not work, Then you have something wrong somewhere else

everything is working except harry potter pup now.  I changed the b2stablesettings file to be default exe mode.  how do you set defaults for all b2s files, notepad on b2stablesetting file or is there another way?
