Got DOF working with Sainsmart usb relay, but maybe something not right?

Ive got DOF working with my sainsmart usb 8 relay board. In the DOF config tool, i used up the 8 relays with the flippers, kickers and pop bumpers. When I play the game the relays fire when I press the flipper buttons and when the ball hits the kicker, pop bumper etc. So all is good except, relays are also firing when I hit a drop target, use my ball launch button, mushroom bumpers. I didn’t expect this. I expected the relays to only fire when using flipers, kickers, and pop bumpers.

Is this the way its supposed to work, or do I need to edit something to fix this? If so what do I edit?
