Well I’m about to head down the real DMD rabbit hole. I’ve tied a rope around my waist and the other end to a tree…. if you don’t see me for a while, please pull on the rope.
So far I have found the dot matrix display and one of the boards required, but it’s dark in this rabbit hole (and I don’t eat carrots) so it’s hard for me to see the light at the end.
Is there a definitive parts & step-by-step guide to building one of these? I have been visiting the DMD sites and although they say things like “Here is what you need…” it’s still a bit confusing for an electronic illiterate noob like me.
