Help: 60s tables ball fall out of plunger area

Here is a curious thing, that may have a simple fix:

I have several tables from the 50s and 60s (Big Casino and Buckaroo are two examples) where multiple balls enter the launch zone of the plunger and then fall out of the table, thus breaking the game.

 

Its several tables.  Is there something I can do about this?
