Help Running POTC Please

HI Folks

I can’tget thistable to start and wnondered if anybody can help.

I downloaded the ROM From Here

http://www.sternpinball.com/game-code/game-code-pirates-of-the-caribbean-english-spanish

I named the rar potc_600as and the bin file as well (Same name as the script is asking for) But when I tryand run the game I get check the rom path or file message.

Now I’m stuck so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Always, you have ro rename the .bin -> then make a romname.zip ( dont use .rar )

I know this is kinda late, but maybe it will be helpful to someone.

I was getting the same error, so I went through the script looking for anything obvious. I didn’t see anything, but I did come across this line, near the front of the script. “Const cController = 3 ‘0=Use value defined in cController.txt, 1=VPinMAME, 2=UVP server, 3=B2S server, 4=B2S with DOF (disable VP mech sounds)”

I’m not using a B2S server right now, because I’m just using my PC, and I haven’t built a cabinet yet. So I changed the “3” to a “0” and the table now works for me. You can also change it to a “1” and it will work, as long as you are using Vpinmame.
