Got the backglass in it’s newly redone purple frame. Feel better having it somewhere “safe” instead of just hanging out in it’s paper wrap. going to wait another day before masking for the black on the backbox, then wait a few days to do the other side. In the mean time I’ll be stripping the playfield down to clean and such.

got the other side of the backbox done and the backbox hardware put back in and temporarily bolted to the cab.
up next is make a new lightboard with all new sockets and wiring as the one it came with is in horrible shape, warped and swollen and dirty.
after that the serious work on the playfield begins. bought a bunch of new parts to replace old and yucky ones.

Got the new non-warped lightboard cutout, drilled and painted.
Next up is to make the back side look like this, with all new light sockets and re-pin the connectors for the displays.
On a non-related note, just got back from the local arcade, played some Beatles, Deadpool, Batman 66 and Houdini and a bunch of others. Really enjoyed Beatles, first time playing it, wouldn’t mind playing more of that one, but then that probably doesn’t surprise anyone who knows where my tastes lay. Had a couple pretty decent games of Pin-Bot as well, but they had the thing cranked up so loud it was damn annoying. Cyclone was also a lot of fun. deadpool, houdini, game of thrones, the new Star Wars were all cool, but so hard to get what is going on all the time, definitely not a fan of time wasting video modes (yeah even AFM video mode I could do without) or especially stupid action buttons in the lockbar. Batman 66 is such a cool theme it helps it out, but it is pretty fun to shoot as well.

Cool. I managed to get quite a bit of pinball in over the last week. I’m interest in how the Beatles is. I played quite a few games of seawitch, was a fun shoot but pretty shallow. Curious what they added for Beatles, lot of potential there. Not really a Beatles music fan, but it’s not country, so that’s good. LOL
It took me a couple games on Deadpool to get the hang of it, but once I did, I found it to be really fun. BM66 with new code is also fun. Â Houdini is kinda meh.

Cool. I managed to get quite a bit of pinball in over the last week. I’m interest in how the Beatles is. I played quite a few games of seawitch, was a fun shoot but pretty shallow. Curious what they added for Beatles, lot of potential there. Not really a Beatles music fan, but it’s not country, so that’s good. LOL

I think I saw there is a Beatles over on Monroe at the mozey inn. Not too far for you. Of the Beatles music I actually like the early lighter stuff this has more than the later stuff, but I think I’m in the minority in that.

After some time off for the a very Beery Xmas and a Hoppy New Beer, I spent some time in the shop today working on the Hulk.

need to test out the displays to make sure they all work, and test the light wiring, then it’s on to cleaning, touch-up and clearing the playfield.
