I will tell you guys over the last 6-7 months i think i have had some life changing events in my life.
The first thing was in feb/march i took my first 10 days off ever(no joke been running a small company since 1987 and have never had a single day off NOT ONE SINGLE DAY! Anyways the wife and i went on a vacation for 10 days (first vacation i have ever had)and came back march 9th to the pandemic in full force. By then my work was way overloaded and i have not had a day to relax sense due to the pandemic and then the riots here in Minnesota was i nice cherry on top
. I lost accounts because the buildings are destroyed and burned to the ground but they will rebuild i am told so thats good(i service primarily large grocery/retail stores). But to get dozens of accounts back to normal has been draining to say the least the last month and a half has been very tough but i do like what i do for work…it just NEVER stops.Now as i turn 50 i find myself enjoying family even more and appreciating this community more too! I even appreciate @theloafer more too! My plan was to retire at 55 since i was 18 years old but now due to market im probably looking at 57 or 59 unless things start turning around soon but after all this i am truly a different person and i think i am much more at ease with my life and perhaps turning 50 is not that bad after all!

I do plan to get back into VP things more as soon as i can catch a breath and the pandemic is mostly over and work gets a bit less crazy! It has been just CRAZY i can not even begin to tell you but things have to start slowing down soon i would think.

Really appreciate your earlier post randr. I’m sure all of us have been dealing with challenges. But you spotted the right time and way to have us all here pause and give things some thought.
