I’m sure it’s just me, and I’ve missed something. But I’ve watched the video’s step by step….installed and uninstalled multiple times. Set up all screens to be spread around a single screen just to test, and spread across separate screens…..and yet I get the same result each time…..
I can only ever get the menu screen to load, other screens are running (if I click the relative icons in the task tray their audio becomes active). Yet no full system ever becomes visible. I can launch tables with no issue, so it all functions….just the front-end is completely invisible other than the menu.
I also find when I quit the menu, the rest of the system remains running in the task tray. I’ve tried all as admin and not, and the same result each time.

The ONLY exe that can be Run as Admin in pinupmenu.exe
Chances are you have a program running in the background the interferes with Overlays. This can be Overclocking software, Logitech Gaming Software, Paint programs, Video Editors, etc.
If something interferes with the PuP Overlay when you try running PuP / Popper, then it will cause things to get mucked up and you need to close out all pup screens and player after manually.
Myself for example…if I’m testing PuP stuff, I need to close out any of the above type programs when running on my Test PC.

You can try to see if it’s the overlay issue by modifying pupmenuscript and set pgameinfo and psplashinfo to -1 at top of script.

Many thanks. The -1 did the trick, and everything came to life.
I tried shutting down everything but for Radeon settings, which only allows the tray icon to be hidden and no luck.
I’ll just have to forgo any of the glorious overlay work whilst I work out what the heck it is in my setup that may be causing the conflict.
Many thanks though. You’ve put me on the right path for tinkering and figuring out what the root cause would be. If I ever find what it was I’ll be sure to update.
