The installer instructions state that the Other1 screen has to be configured with the same dimensions as the BG, and then states it should be disabled. Is this correct?

yes… it was a new ‘method’ that PuP-Pack editors wanted to use so that we could ‘layer’ videos playing in the Backglass.
so if you have a long video (multiball) playing, you could ‘pop-up’ the Other1 screen over it to show perhaps a ‘jackpot’…and then continue with background video.
dunno if that makes sense…but you don’t want Other1 to be enabled by default, the PuP-Pack will ‘enabled’ it auto-magically if it needs it.
