Invisible Ball in VPX

Is there a way to make the ball invisible in vpx.

I am doing midnight magic from the atari 2600 in vpx and it has a square ball. I have managed to get the square ball to work with Ninuzzu’s Ballshadow test table primitive following the ball but the ball underneath can still be seen. I have played around with the images and transparency but haven’t been able to hide the ball.

Is this possible.
