One request – with three small kids I got all kinds of grief over the start audio (the F bombs) any chance of a different choice (if its in the script I apologise or if its a reference to a music file, perhaps I can change/modify to keep her indoors happy with my hobby).

Edit the script. On line 613 you should change it from:
PlaySound “_IMwelcome”
to
PlaySound “_IMwelcomeUnderGlass”
You’ll still get sound, but not the bad words.

Awesome. Thank you. I found the sound “FuckingMetal” but could not find the reference to it in the script. Now I can see that the sound is replicated through “IMWelcome”, I’m changing it to IMShowtime. Great table and now I will be able to play it when I want. This may get more of a workout that the Motorhead table.

i have a problem wirh starting UltraDMD.
All other tables work.
But at this table it won
t start. In the script it is activated. If i open script and run the table it works. But if i close the script it doesnt work.Have anyone an idea?

@jkp0317gmail-com : I have a feeling that your problem is not that you don’t have UltraDMD, but, have replaced it with FlexDMD ? Got the same error myself, so I did a quick and dirty script change.

For this gem again, I made some BG Mod with grill for us 4:3 display guys. One with one without speakers.
Of course the grill illumination is synced to the GI again. Couldn’t embed the youtube video directly… so just a link

I’m not usually into Heavy metal, but this theme, song, voice-overs is just great!
Just a quick thinking when re-usings roms:
Is it possible to make a renamed copy of a rom to avoid conflicts with the original table.
Like copy/renaming “lwar83.zip” to “lwar83_im.zip” and then just change the script reference?
Then there can also be an own DOF-config for this table?
It could add even more spice to it.
There’s a new “alias” feature in VPinMame. Using this you can define another rom name without the need to copy and rename the ROM.
The DOF Configtool Client has a corresponding “synonym” feature that copies the entire DOF Config from the original ROM. Afterwards it could be tweaked individually.You need to login in order to like this post: click here

Sure, the VPMalias is a new feature. But, it is still going to mess up your previous high scores from in this case, Laser Wars. What you can do to prevent that, (and it is not in my FlexDMD script either) is to add ‘NVOffset(2)’ in the line after ‘vpmInit Me’.

This was the words I use when contacted Herweh about moding his table, taking Mod to other level , it was allready my propose with AoS but I wanted to go farther , without Herweh’s coding magic this wouldn’t be possible , he accepted the challenge :)
We had a lot of fun doing the table and I know this wont be the last we build together
