Anyone know what’s going and how to fix it when I try this table?  The T-Rex and ball starts erasing the table as they move

What version of VPX are you using?  If you use 10.5 final at the very least it should be ok (not possible for me to check right now, sorry).

    10.6 beta Rev 3660 –

    If that’s what you’re using then try — 10.6 beta Rev 3592

I tried 10.6 beta Rev 3592 still does the same thing.  Even the latest 3660 does it.  No change.  Any other ideas?

It all works fine for me so
    Try re-downloading the game

Is this the Rom you use

Yep that’s the rom.  I redownload ed the table same thing.  Object movement like the ball, Trex, flippers all erase the playfield with blackness.  Quite frustrating.  All my other tables work.  Even other Stern ones.  Sigh…

Have the same problem as mikencnet.  Radeon 6870 video card.  Can’t seem to solve the “erasing” effect unfortunately as looks like a good table.

Actually I solved the erasing this table. I simply updated the firmware of the graphics card and it’s fixed now. Table renders completely and does not erase as the ball moves

Thanks for the quick replies.  That did the trick Mike.  Works like a charm.  Can now see the excellent T-rex model!  Good job on the table guys.

It’s a raised playfield.  Open the materials manager and find the material name “aPhysics Playfield”.  Changing the friction setting for this material will change your playfield friction.
